Hello! I’m Susie. I’m a portrait and family photographer based in Roseville, California.
Creating and capturing beautiful moments brings me great joy. I love how portrait photography allows me to share this happiness with the people in front of my camera. Whether a photo shoot is to commemorate a special life moment or just for fun, I look forward to working with my clients to bring their ideas to life.
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed expressing my creativity through art. As a teenager I used drawing as an outlet for all kinds of emotions, during college I was super into creating collages with Photoshop. About 6 years ago, I invested in my first good camera to capture the beauty of this world. In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to refine my photography skills by taking classes and practicing with my family. Now, as a professional photographer, I photograph families, kids, friends, professionals and just about anything. Also, as a mom of young kids, I have a lot of love and understanding for little ones who might need a little help with striking the right pose.
I was born and raised in the south of Germany. My college years were spent in the beautiful city of Nuremberg followed by a few years living in Munich. I later moved to San Francisco where my husband and I got married. We have now settled in Roseville to raise our two young boys.
I love to travel and to read a good book. I seek sunshine and lot's of coffee! When I'm not behind the camera and running after the kids, you will probably find me painting a rock. My love language is creativity!
